Description
These can be used as a shorter alternative to the other warm-up tracks, again using call and response rhythms for whole class tuition activities. However, as an extended warm-up and composition activity you could try encouraging pupils to come up with some rhythms of their own to try. These can be played using the corresponding notes for each track. The activity may also be extended further by notating the rhythms you come up with.
Each of the Micro Warm-up tracks are in 4/4 and their structure is:

- 8 bars to play

Check which note your players will use for each Micro Warm-up depending on the instrument they are playing (e.g. for Clarinet look in the Instruments in B flat Column, for Alto Sax look in the Instruments in E flat column)
